Requirement of Trainee Engineer (Mechanical & Civil) in NHPC Limited (A Mini Ratna Company of Government of India) through GATE 2020
Post: Trainee Engineer (Mechanical/Civil)
Grade: E2
Pay Scale: 50,000 – 3% – 1,60,00 (IDA)
Maximum Age (as on 01.10.2020): 30 years
No. of Vacancies: 21 Nos. (Mechanical) & 30 Nos. (Civil)
Minimum Qualification: Full-time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrolment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
Note: Mechanical discipline includes Mechanical/Production/Thermal/Mechanical & Automation Engineering.
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of 50,000 – 3% – 1,60,00 (IDA) (E2) during one year training period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineer/Officer in the same scale with probation of one year. The total annual emoluments for the new joinee shall be approx. Rs. 15 Lakh.
Selection Procedure: Candidates shall be shortlisted out of the candidates registered with NHPC as per merit based on the GATE – 2020 marks and will be provisionally selected and extended “Offer of Appointment” on a provisional basis. Candidates are required to appear for the GATE-2020 paper.
