10. KIIT UNIVERSITY – KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY 

This Institute is offering an intake of 3450 UG students & 212 PG students in engineering. KIIT hosts over 14879 UG (All programs including engineering) students across the last three years. Placement percentage has been on a steady decline and last year they managed to place a total of 3329 (2018-19) students with a placement percentage of 50.75%. However, on average students who were placed were offered a very good salary package of rupees 4 lakh 20 thousand.

9. SRM UNIVERSITY CHENNAI – SRM INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Putting up a strong intake number of over 6000 UG engineering seats, SRM opens its doors to a total of over 20,000 undergraduate students (All programs including engineering).

SRM has had a big drop in their placement percentage in 2018 but they have managed to do extremely well this year by bringing their placement percentage up to 90.6% by placing a total of 4139 students with such a big intake of 4708 their placement percentage is really impressive and in fact, it is the highest on the list.

Students were offered a median salary package of 3.5 lakhs per annum. SRM offers excellent campus hostel and sports facilities which are spread across 250 acres. 8. BIT MESRA – BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

BIT MESRA has increased its intake from 750 to 780 and opens its doors to a total of two thousand six hundred and ninety UG engineering students.

BIT MESRA maintains a relatively steady placement percentage of 66.6% by placing 421 students with a median salary of 6.2 lakhs per annum

The beautiful 780-acre campus of BITS RANCHI holds 222 full-time and 88 part-time students who pursued their PhDs, 44 full-time & 22 part-time students have graduated with their integrated Ph.D.

7. SASTRA UNIVERSITY THANJAVUR – SHANMUGHA ARTS SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH AND ACADEMY CHENNAI(SASTRA)

With an approved intake of 1800 UG engineering students and has a total of 7075 students studying in their various undergraduate programs.

SASTRA is one of the leading engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu spread over 232 acres of area with a beautifully designed campus & wide vicinity area.

VIT’s performance with their placement percentage is as good as it was in the previous years but they have managed to place a total of 455 students with a placement of 85.8%.
